20 Week Bumpdate

Holy cow, kids! We're half-baked!

I feel like the first time around it took EONS to get to this point... now, time is just flying. Literally. Halfway to meeting our sweet girl.. I cannot WAIT!!

This week has been a rough one... Hubs and Ky and I AND my mom all got hit with a wretched stomach bug. We were totally incapacitated all day yesterday and I didn't even have enough energy to post Ky's 8month update! Thankfully, we're all feeling much better today and starting to get on the mend.

We had our anatomy scan this morning and baby girl looks amazing and perfect! Its such a relief to hear those words... esp when the sono tech is clicking and measuring away and you have NO idea what things should be/look like. I walked away feeling so thankful and blessed for a healthy, squirmy, wiggly little babe! :)

How far along are you? 20 weeks

Total weight gain: still +9 lbs... prob because I lost a pound or two the last few days from being so sick!

How big is baby?: The size of a banana

Maternity clothes: Leggings mostly. MUST give props and major thanks to Heidi over at As the Forest{e} Grows for her tip on BeMaternity Leggings from Targé. LOOOOOOVE. Love. I want a million pairs. They only had one pair in my size when I first went, but I even went back this weekend to buy more and still no new shipments! I am also wearing some maternity tops/tanks. My maternity jeans are still a tad too big!

Stretch marks?: Nothing new

Sleep: Falling asleep is NBD, but I've been having a bewitching hour lately. Most nights I pop up wide awake between the hours of 3 - 5am. It's a blast. (not).

Best moment this week: Hubs got to feel Bunny kick for the first time! He didn't feel Ky for the first time till about 23 weeks, so this is huge!

Movement: Lots of movement lately! Little pops and rolls here and there... a few nights ago, I was feeding Ky his bottle and she kicked him. Obviously he didn't know what was going on but he jumped a little! It was really cute :)

Food cravings: This week: buffalo wings. The hottest and spiciest ones I can get my grubby little hands on. And also, Bang Bang Shrimp from Bonefish Grill. YUM.

Food aversions: I was mashing up a banana the other day for Ky and the sight of it made me want to yak. Other than that, nothing really.

Labor signs: No... and Hopefully it stays that way for 28 more weeks!

Belly button in or out: Sadly... its more out than in at the moment.

What I miss: This week it's sleeping on my back

What I'm looking forward to: Going to California in a couple weeks to visit my bestie!

Milestone: Reaching the half-way point! Thats a bigums if you ask me!

Let's see, what else... STILL no decisions on Baby Two's name but we've definitely narrowed it down to two. We keep using them interchangeably when talking about her to see which "fits" and is more natural. Stay tuned for more on that!
