15 Week Bumpdate

15 Weeks isn't a huge milestone, but it means a lot of things. It means I'm smooth sailing from the 1st trimester. It means baby's gender can be determined now. And it means flutters turn to flips and also that now I actually look pregnant and not fat or like I haven't lost the baby weight... (Up until this point, if I left the house with Baby One, I'd wear something super baggy or super tight so that there'd be no mistake that I'm not still carrying around a post-baby belly with a 7month old baby. No judgies.)

  • How far along are you? 15 weeks

  • Total weight gain: errmm.... no idea. I tend to shy away from the scale...

  • How big is baby?: The size of an apple

  • Maternity clothes: I seem to be living in leggings lately since my maternity jeans are still a bit too loose. However, I can still squeeze into my regular jeans with the help of my good friend the ponytail holder!

  • Stretch marks?: Nothing new, thankfully... but the few I got from Baby One are starting to rear their ugly heads again. Bah.

  • Sleep: Sleep is good! Once I'm out, you'd need an earthquake to wake me up... or Hubs nudging me, same diff :-P

  • Best moment this week: Feeling what I know to be distinct movement.

  • Movement: A little rolling around here and there! I didn't feel Baby One's flips and kicks til about 17/18 weeks to when I knew for sure.. but now that I know what it feels like, I think I can tell sooner.

  • Food cravings: Still creamy, cheesy pasta. Also... fried chicken. And Pho. Mmmmm, pho. Oh, and anchovy stuffed olives. I know, VOM.. but they're soo super salty and delish :)

  • Food aversions: Finally over the egg disaster of 2011. I didn't have a SINGLE aversion with Baby One, so when the sight of eggs made me want to hurl, I was super confused at first... but I had eggs for breakfast yesterday, so I think we're good!

  • Labor signs: Uhh I hope not!

  • Belly button in or out: Innie

  • What I miss: Still missing wine. And sushi... my sister-in-law is visiting and was eating a spicy tuna roll from Whole Foods yesterday and I almost leapt across the table to get it.

  • What I'm looking forward to: Finding out Bunny's gender ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!!

  • Milestone: Getting through the first tri and feeling movement.

  • In ONE WEEK we find out whether Bunny is a He-Bunny or She-Bunny. At my last u/s the tech gave us a "guess" and said she was 95% sure what it was.. but I want her to be 150% sure before sharing the news :) Don't forget to take the poll in my sidebar if you want to guess! We are going to be thrilled either way... I've lusted for a little girl since I was a little girl myself, but being that the babies will be so close in age, a boy would be a lot of fun and SO much easier since we are already equipped! We'll find out soon enough... I can't wait! And here is a 15 week picture..

I have been craving salt with this pregnancy- but I settle for pickles, though your stuffed olives have me intrigued. Yay for finding out gender 150% soon!

AWWWWW U LOOK GREAT! AND Could be wrong ....but Im gonna say that your OB told you it looked 95% boy....simply because if it was your last appt it wouldve still been pretty early and usually only boys will have that high of a percentage so early on ....i was told 75% was a boy at 13 wks ...so im guessing boy....but I cant wait till you announce :)
