Hubs and I and a large group of our friends rented a beach house in Dewey Beach, Delaware for a long weekend. We were gone last Friday - Tuesday, and I've spent Wednesday - Today recovering.
(my liver body clearly isn't as agile as it once was).
Despite Global Warming (and DAMN, was it HOT), we had an awesome time. We'd spend our days lazying on the beach, our late afternoons napping, our evenings eating/drinking and our nights singing/dancing til the bars kicked us out. All in all, a great weekend. Except, of course, for a few details... the most relevant being the end of my beloved camera. But it was bound to happen... you can't expect to be in a house with 8 guys, 4 girls, 10 cases of beer and 5 handles of liquor without SOMETHING breaking... right?
I came back with a few scratches/bruises I can't remember getting, slightly darker skin (I always sit under an umbrella since I tan like whoa), and a constant hankering for the super salty boardwalk fries I consumed almost everyday. YUM. I'm still most definitely in beach-mode and even more depressed considering we had/have the house for a week and its currently sitting completely vacant... only a block from the sun, the beach and the bars.
Bummer.

I plan on spending this weekend recuperating, catching up on errands, cleaning/unpacking and doing absolutely nothing else. Happy Friday!!
